Who We Are

RITE Advisory was formed 3 years ago. The products RITE offers are informed by 25+ years of leading in technology enabling businesses and leading in innovation.  Last year, I and my partner Darrell Mann, founder of Systematic Innovation wrote the book The 1%ers: How New Things Get Done.


Now we support CEO's and decision makers in their journey to get new things done in their companies.


We've held Executive Level positions, led turnarounds, worked in small, medium and enterprise level businesses, built and sold businesses. We learned that in every situation, it's the humans who determine what actually happens. That isn't big news to most leaders, and yet it is big news because we aren't talking about understanding humans the way we have in the past. We are talking about something else entirely.


Throughout our careers, we noticed the way decisions in one department rippled through entire systems. How human dynamics shape outcomes more than strategy. How complexity gets labeled "noise" when it's actually signal.


Darrell and I met when he certified one of my teams in Systematic Innovation. His research analyzing millions of successful innovations revealed patterns in how breakthrough innovation actually works. Not the mythology, but what genuinely happens when new things get done.


Together, we found what matters most: you. The human navigating the system. You are the variable that has always been underindexed in the recipe. Innovation success rates remain around 2%. How do we fix it?


Darrell's research (11.6 Million case studies) reveals seven human capabilities that consistently show up when people successfully get new things done. All things related to AI are now new things. The really good news is... the seven human capabilities are innate. We already have them. Most of us were never taught to recognize or develop them systematically.
